Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has felicitated with renowned businessman and philanthropist, Prince Alex Mbata, on his birthday, describing him as “a worthy son of Imo State“
In a rare birthday message, Uzodimma praised Mbata as “an entrepreneur of great repute, an outstanding philanthropist and a patriot”.
“As you celebrate your birthday, I wish you God’s continued blessings, protection and peace,” Uzodimma concluded.

Eminent Imolites, including politicians, businessmen, captains of industries, and former and serving Imo State government officials, had joined Uzodimma in sending congratulatory messages to the business mogul.
The Prince Alex Mbata Humanitarian Foundation, (PAM) solely owned by Mbata, has empowered thousands of youths, widows, and vulnerable individuals across Owerri Zone.
Analysts say that Uzodimma’s commendation of Mbata’s humanitarian spirit is not surprising, given their shared commitment to the development of Imo State.
The governor had during an empowerment programme by PAM Foundation held on December 16, 2021, at Ndubuisi Kanu Square, Owerri, acknowledged Mbata’s generosity and contributions to the state’s progress.
