Imo Women For Peace And Good Governance Lauds Akagburuonye’s Philanthropy, Contributions To Peace, Development

A prominent women’s group in Imo State, Women for Peace amd Good Governance, has expressed deep admiration for renowned philanthropist, Success Akagburuonye, in recognition of his far-reaching contributions to humanity.

Akagburuonye who holds the prestigious title of Akaraugo of Mbaise and Omuma, is the National President of Hope Rising For Imolites.

The women group clad in their admirable uniforms made the remark at an event held at Akagburuonye’s palatial residence in Ogbor Uvuru, Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State

The event witnessed a large turnout of women leaders and community stakeholders, including the Director General , Barr Emeka Emekasiri and Director, Contact and Mobilization of Hope Rising, and Owerri North Co-ordinator, Chief Chukwudi Opara (Udorchimara Emii)

The group’s leaders, Hon. Izuchi Duru, President of the Women for Good Governance, and Nwachukwu Georgina Onyeka, Secretary of the group, lauded Akagburuonye as an exemplary figure in promoting peace and development.

“Chief Akagburuonye has continuously demonstrated that true leadership lies in giving back to humanity and ensuring peace reigns,” Duru said.

Mrs. Emeka Oluchi, a key member of the group, added that Chief Akagburuonye’s contributions have been transformative, touching lives in many aspects.

She prayed God to continue to guide him and protect him at all times.

“His benevolence is felt not just by the people of Aboh Mbaise but across Imo State,” Oluchi remarked.

Responding to the accolades, Chief Akagburuonye thanked the women for their visit and recognition.

He reassured them of his continued commitment to promoting peace and development through his various initiatives. He emphasized that his desire to give back is rooted in his belief in the power of unity and the importance of uplifting others.

“As long as I am able, I will continue to support efforts that bring positive change to our people,” Akagburuonye stated.
