Uzodimma Approves Committee For Ahiajoku Lecture 2025

His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, has approved the setting up of a Committee to organise next year’s Ahiajoku Lecture series.

According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon Declan Emelumba, the Chairman of the Organising Committee, is a former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku

Other members of the committee drawn from the seven Igbo speaking states in Nigeria include Chief Garry Igariwey, Chief Stanley Amuchie, and Nze Ray Emeana ,the Director GeneralAhiajoku Centre as Secretary.

Emelumba disclosed that the theme for next year’s lecture is ” The Future of the Igbo Economy Amidst the Challenges of Insecurity in the South East, A call Paradigm Shift”

He said other details concerning the lecture, including the guest lecturer, and the dates will be announced later.
