The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will on Friday, November 29, 2024,deliver the 12th Convocation lecture of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State.
The Governor will speak on the topic,AGRICULTURE AND NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN A DIVERSIFIED ECONOMY: A VISION OF RENEWED HOPE THROUGH TOWN AND GOWN.
According to a release by the State Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon Declan Emelumba, the ceremony will be held at the Anyim Pius Anyim Hall at the University.
He disclosed that the chairman at the event is the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin.
The Commissioner said the lecture at the Michael Okpara University will make it the fourth in the series of lectures the governor has delivered to various Nigerian universities this year.
He urged all Imo citizens resident in Abia State and all admirers of the governor to troop out enmasse to listen to Uzodimma speak on a critical topic that affects the lives of every Nigerian.
