Imo APGA Hails S/Court Judgement On Authentic Leadership Of Party

The Imo State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has commended the Supreme Court on it”s Judgement, which affirmed Barr Sly Ezeokenwa as the authentic National Chairman of the party.

In a statement in Owerri, APGA Chairman in Imo State, John Iwuala, commended the Supreme Court for the judgement, which it described as significant and a positive development which places the party on the path of progress and advancement

He said the judgment has laid to rest the contentious issue on who is the National Chairman of the party, much as he noted that Edozie Njoku was an impostor, who never meant well for the party.

He said APGA is one big family, which can accommodate anyone, urging Edozie Njoku and co, to accept the judgement in good faith and come together to work for the progress and growth of the APGA family.

He said APGA stands United, and with the judgement of the apex court, it has set the party on the path of rejuvenation and progress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Iwuala pointed out that with the issue finally settled, APGA is now poised to surge ahead, and devoid of further racour which has decimated the party in the past.

“The judgement implies no victor, no vanquished. I call on all APGA faithfuls loyal to Edozie Njoku to return back to the mainstream APGA in Imo State so that we can build a formidable party ahead 2027 general elections” he stated.

Recall that the Supreme Court, in a bid to resolve the APGA Leadership tussle, affirmed t Barr Sly Ezeokenwa as the authentic National Chairman of the party.

In a statement signed by Mazi Ejimofor Opara, Phd, National Publicity Secretary, the party described the judgement as a testament to upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice is served.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the judiciary, particularly the Chief Justice of Nigeria His Lordship, Justice Kudirat Kereke- Ekun, for restoring faith in the judiciary”

The party commended it’s National Leader, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, for his unwavering support and guidance. He said Soludo ‘s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the party’s vision and values

It also commended that “the BOT and NWC members of our great party, we appreciate your tireless efforts and commitment to our shared values” part of the statement read.
