GPA Initiates Global Petition,Demands UN Of Ban GMO Foods (See Link)

A petition backed by 193 million people worldwide has urged UN Secretary-General António Guterres to propose a resolution banning genetically modified organisms (GMO) globally.

The initiative, led by the Global Prolife Alliance, highlights health risks such as increased pesticide use, cancer, organ damage, and reproductive issues linked to GMO foods.

It also raised concerns about environmental degradation, threats to food sovereignty, and the livelihoods of natural seed growers.

The petition challenges claims of GMO benefits, such as enhanced beta-carotene in golden rice, labeling them misleading.

Instead, it advocated for sustainable agriculture and environmental preservation as essential for global health and food security.

The GPA underscored the urgency for a UN-backed ban to create a safer, GMO-free world for future generations.

Supporters are encouraged to join the campaign by signing the petition at thepetitionsite.com.
