A group known as Imo State Leadership In Diaspora Forum Worldwide has set machinery in motion to canvass for cultural heritage of her people. He said they will develop actionable strategies for sustainable progress of the state.
The President General of the Group, Sampson Udeh who spoke in Owerri on Friday said, “Having the Imo State organizations from more than 40 countries is a testament to the global reach and determination of our people. Our organization is dedicated in addressing the economic challenges facing ndi Imo and proffering solutions”.
He said, the Diaspora Summit which holds in January 2025 has ‘ALA IMO GA-DI NMA’, as the theme. He said, “The summit will focused on economic growth, preservation of cultural heritage, and the role of Imolites in diaspora in contributing to the development of Imo State and the need for adequate security in our dear Imo State”.
According to the President General, “The summit promotes economic growth and
development in Imo State, fosters collaboration between
diasporans through their leaders, Imo State Government and stakeholders and develops actionable strategies for sustainable progress”.
He said, “Economic growth and development in Imo State, preservation of cultural heritage and traditions and role of Imolites in diaspora in contributing to the development of Imo will form part of the major discussion”.
