Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria after serving time in a UK prison.
Reports on Wednesday, stated that she landed in Nigeria on Tuesday.
The Ekweremadus made headlines last year when they, along with Dr. Obinna Obeta, were convicted by a UK court for their involvement in an organ-harvesting scheme.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu received a 10-year prison sentence, while Mrs. Ekweremadu was sentenced to six years for her role in the case.
