Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface will not be joining Saudi club Al Nassr despite advanced talks.
Transfer negotiations had reached an advanced stage, but the deal ultimately collapsed after Al Nassr failed to give the final approval.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development.
He wrote on his Facebook page “Victor Boniface and Al Nassr, deal OFF! The agreement was close but never finalized as Al Nassr did not provide the green light.”
Boniface, who has been in exceptional form in Europe, will now remain focused on his current clubz Bayern Leverkusen as Al Nassr looks elsewhere for reinforcements.
