The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) crisis took a new turn as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees (BOT), Adolphus Wabara, was suspended by his ward in Abia State over alleged anti-party activities.
The development marks a significant escalation of the crisis plaguing the PDP.
According to reports, the suspension was approved by the Abia State Working Committee (SWC) during a meeting presided over by the State Chairman, Abraham Amah.
The SWC endorsed the ward’s decision, citing serious allegations against Wabara.
Confirming the suspension to journalists in Umuahia, Amah stated that more details regarding the decision would be released at a later time.
