After completing matchday seven fixtures last week, the league has gone on a brief break, providing an opportunity for teams to make strategic roster adjustments. Clubs now have until March 11, 2025, to finalize their transfers and bolster their chances in the competitive title race.
The NWFL also revealed that the second stanza of the season is set to commence on March 19, ensuring a swift return to action for the teams. In Group A, Remo Stars Ladies currently lead the pack with 19 points, closely pursued by reigning champions Edo Queens, who sit just two points behind. Meanwhile, Group B has Rivers Angels tied with Bayelsa Queens at 17 points each, while Delta Queens trail the front runners.
