Governor Hope Uzodimma is set to meet with key stakeholders from Owerri Zone on Monday, March 10, 2025.
The meeting, scheduled to hold at the Sam Mbakwe Old Exco Chambers in the Government House, Owerri, is expected to address critical issues concerning the zone’s political future and its role in the state’s governance.
Stakeholders invited to the meeting include members of the Imo State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Chairpersons and members of Federal and State Boards, and Senior Special Assistants from Owerri Zone
The directive was communicated by Enyinna Onuegbu Esq., urging all invitees to be seated at least 30 minutes before the governor’s arrival.
This high-stakes engagement comes amidst heightened political discussions about Owerri Zone’s quest for equitable power rotation in the state, particularly as the 2027 governorship election draws closer.
