Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is set to include 12 players from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in his squad for the upcoming Unity Cup invitational tournament.
Kano Pillars have confirmed the invitation of their captain, Ahmed Musa, who will lead the contingent of local players to the four-nation event.
Musa will be joined by 11 other NPFL stars, including Nduka Junior, Sikiru Alimi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, and Adamu Abubakar.
Reports indicate that Chelle plans to use the Unity Cup as part of the Super Eagles’ preparations for the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The tournament, which will be hosted in London, will feature Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago alongside Nigeria.
