Turkish giants Galatasaray are setting their sights on Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye as they prepare to reinforce their squad for the coming season.
This comes as the Istanbul-based club edges closer to completing a high-profile move for Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, who is reportedly on the verge of signing from Napoli.
Okoye, who left Watford for Udinese in the summer of 2023, has grown into a key figure for the Serie A outfit, delivering standout performances in Italy.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper kept ten clean sheets in 48 appearances across all competitions last season, attracting interest from several European clubs.
Despite his success on the pitch, Okoye is currently under scrutiny following allegations of betting fraud in a Serie A clash against Lazio on March 11, 2024.
