Fidelity Bank Plc has launched the 2025 SME Empowerment Program, a key initiative aimed at accelerating the growth of Nigerian small and medium-scale enterprises through digital transformation and targeted capacity building.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe, Managing Director/CEO, represented by the bank’s Chief Operations and Information Officer, Sir Stanley Amuchie, described the 3-day summit as a strategic effort to equip 100 growth-ready entrepreneurs with the tools and training needed to thrive in today’s digital economy.

Each selected SME will receive a fully installed desktop POS system, ERPRev business software, barcode scanners, bookkeeping support, and six months of free post-installation assistance, all at no cost. The package also includes a free Fidelity POS with instant settlement from day one.

“This program isn’t just about tools. It is about unlocking the full potential of Nigerian entrepreneurs,” Amuchie said.

Citing data, he noted that digital-first SMEs are 2.5 times more likely to grow revenue and three times more likely to reach global markets.

Fidelity Bank’s ongoing mentorship programs, female entrepreneur support, and recent accolades, including being named Nigeria’s Best Bank for SMEs, underscore its commitment to inclusive growth.

“We see you. We believe in you. And we’re here to help you grow,” Amuchie concluded.

With this initiative, Fidelity Bank continues to lead the charge in building a resilient, tech-savvy SME sector in Nigeria.
