In a show of solidarity and support, The Mazi Organization (TMO) has extended warm felicitations to Imo women on the occasion of the 2025 August Meeting (Home and Abroad), hailing their immense contributions to community and national development.

The statement, signed by Chief Henry Onwukwe (Apitti), Director General of the Organization, conveyed heartfelt greetings on behalf of TMO’s founder and principal, Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, PhD (Mazi Gburugburu), commending the “remarkable achievements of Imo women” and describing them as “dependable pillars of our homes.”
“We are proud of the remarkable achievements of Imo women, whose tireless efforts in nation-building and community development have positively impacted our history,” the organization stated.
Highlighting the invaluable role women play in the progress of society, TMO emphasized their commitment to uplifting them further.

As part of this year’s celebrations, TMO announced a major financial intervention to support women’s initiatives across the state.
“In view of the foregoing and in line with Dr. Amadi’s tradition of philanthropy, we are pleased to announce the donation of One Hundred Million Naira (N100,000,000) to one hundred women’s groups across Imo State, including but not limited to community and faith-based women’s organizations.”
The organization said the gesture reflects a long-standing tradition of empowering women and fostering grassroots development.
“This gesture underscores our commitment to empowering Imo women and fostering community development. We will in due course, make available the list of beneficiaries of this intervention.” the group stated.
TMO further pledged ongoing support to ensure inclusive growth and unity in Imo State.
“As Imo women gather for this year’s August Meeting, we assure them of our continued partnership and support for a better and more prosperous Imo State in the days ahead.”
“While we look forward to sustaining our collaborative efforts to drive progress and growth in our beloved state, we pray that God grants them safe travels to their respective homes,” the statement added.
The organization extended warm wishes for meaningful deliberations during the annual women’s congress.
