Unveils Documentary Video Showcasing Achievements Of Mr. President
A political pressure group, Tinubu For Better Nigeria (TBN) , has announced plans to stage a two million-man march in the South East in solidarity with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration’s policies.
The group’s National Co-ordinator, Hon. Ebere Chukwuemeka, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, disclosed this during a press briefing in Owerri at the weekend.
According to Chukwuemeka, the March is designed to showcase massive support for President Tinubu across the South East and to counter what he described as “deliberate attempts to misrepresent the administration’s reforms.”
“This is not just a political show. It is a movement of the people. We are mobilizing two million people in the South East to march in support of the programmes and policies of President Tinubu. The reforms may be tough, but they are already reshaping Nigeria,” he declared.
He revealed that TBN has also produced a widely circulated documentary highlighting the achievements of the administration, ranging from economic reforms to education and grassroots development.
“The video documentary is already trending across platforms. It captures Tinubu’s bold steps—abolishing the fraudulent fuel subsidy regime, which ended perennial fuel scarcity, as feul prices are now determined by market forces, increase in Federal Government internal revenue to over N9.1 Trillion in the first half of 2024, dismantled multiple foreign exchange systems, granted autonomy to local governments, and introduced the Students Loan Scheme, among others,” Chukwuemeka stated.
On local government autonomy, he said the President deserves commendation for returning power and resources to the grassroots.
“For the first time, local governments are receiving massive allocations. The States are also receiving increase in allocations. Development is now happening where it matters most—at the community or grassroots level,” he added.
Chukwuemeka further argued that Tinubu’s reforms, though painful, are laying the foundation for a stronger economy.
“No serious President dodges tough decisions.Tinubu has faced Nigeria’s deepest problems head-on, and this is why history will remember him as a courageous reformer,” he said.
He called on Nigerians, particularly in the South East, to look beyond the immediate pains of the reforms and embrace the long-term benefits.
“Every reform comes with sacrifices. What we are planting today are seeds of prosperity for tomorrow,” the TBN coordinator stressed.
The group vowed to continue mobilizing grassroots support for the President, saying the two million-man march would be the biggest political rally ever witnessed in the South East.
“This is just the beginning. TBN will continue to stand firmly behind Tinubu and his vision for a new Nigeria,” Chukwuemeka concluded.
