The National Vice Chairman (South East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has described Governor Hope Uzodimma’s infrastructural revolution and policy initiatives in Imo State as milestones that are both edifying and impactful.
Arodiogbu, a pragmatic politician and accomplished medical doctor, said the governor has performed excellently, citing the record of monumental projects that have continued to transform the state and improve the living standards of the people.
He made the remarks during the book unveiling and commissioning of landmark projects in Owerri on Tuesday by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The APC chieftain emphasized that the implementation of people-driven policies by Governor Uzodimma has been instrumental to the quality projects, programmes, and reforms being witnessed across the state.
Arodiogbu noted that Imo State has experienced massive infrastructural transformation, with peace, security, commerce, and industrial activities taking positive shape. He added that tourists and investors are now trooping into the state to enjoy its serene environment and hospitality, while also creating employment opportunities for indigenes.
The Ideato North-born APC leader described President Tinubu’s commissioning of key projects as a mark of selflessness and true democracy, commending Governor Uzodimma as a visionary leader known for his compassion, vibrancy, and goodwill.
According to Arodiogbu, “The APC and the 3R administration have undertaken massive infrastructural projects that have improved peace, security, and economic development. However, the official commissioning of the reconstructed Concorde Hotel, the 26-kilometre Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia Road, the Assumpta Flyover linking Port Harcourt and Onitsha Roads, commonly known as Control Post, and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC), Owerri — plus the unveiling of the book ‘A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria’ written by Hope Uzodimma — are truly worthwhile.”
He further reflected that “these developmental projects will not only boost connectivity and commerce in the state but will also stand as enduring legacies of the governor’s commitment to transformative leadership.”
Arodiogbu appreciated Governor Uzodimma for his dedication to the advancement and transformation of Imo State, describing his efforts as a reflection of true progressive governance.
While commending President Tinubu for visiting Imo State and commissioning the projects initiated and executed by the Shared Prosperity administration, Arodiogbu prayed that God would continue to sustain the nation’s leaders and grant them more wisdom to serve prudently, effectively, and efficiently.
