Umuihugba Umuodu Community PG’s Mum For Burial Nov 14

The family of late Duru Kemjika Udemba of Umuihugba Umuodu Autonomous Community, Owerri Municipal Council, Imo State, has announced the burial arrangements for their matriarch, Lolo Ngozi Stella Udemba (née Mbah – Nne Okwukwe), who passed on at the age of 75.

According to a family statement, a Christian sing-song will be held in her honour on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at her husband’s compound located at No. 81A Amaram Street, Owerri, Imo State.

The statement noted that the body of the late Lolo Udemba will leave Aladinma Hospital Mortuary, Owerri, by 7 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, for her husband’s compound. At 8:30 a.m., the body will lie in state for public viewing and tributes.

A requiem mass will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Mulumba Catholic Church, No. 160 Wetheral Road, Owerri, after which interment will take place immediately at her husband’s compound.

A thanksgiving mass in appreciation of a life well lived is scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, also at St. Mulumba Catholic Church, Wetheral Road, Owerri.

The family expressed gratitude to friends, relatives, and well-wishers who have continued to identify with them since the passing of their mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In a note signed by her son for the family, Mr. Emeka Morfart Udemba, the family described the deceased as a virtuous woman whose life of love, faith, and compassion touched many within and beyond Umuihugba Umuodu community.

The late Lolo Ngozi Stella Udemba, according to the family, will be remembered for her dedication to family values, humility, and commitment to the Catholic faith.

The family prayed for the repose of her soul, adding that her memory would forever remain a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
