PDP Expels Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu At Ibadan Convention

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, former Ekiti Governor Ayo Fayose, and National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu.

The announcement came Saturday during the party’s national convention in Ibadan.

The party cited actions “against its directives and interests,” signaling a crackdown on high-profile dissenters. Wike and Fayose are key power brokers in Rivers and Ekiti.

Despite backlash and boycott threats from some delegations, PDP insists the convention will continue.
