Peter Obi Emerges Atiku’s Running Mate

Reports reaching this newspaper indicate that former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has chosen former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi as his running mate.

Though an officail statement is awaited from Atiku’s presidential campaign organisation, there are clear indications that Mr.Obi has been nominated as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Atiku had won the PDP presidential primary defeating Sokoto State Governor and Senate President, Among Tambuwal and Bukola Saraki.
