Former governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA in the governorship election in Imo State, Uche Nwosu has said he will support whoever the Supreme Court would favour on his appeal challenging the outcome of the governorship election in the State.
He said “I would also wait for the Supreme Court Judgement on the appeals over the governorship of the State. And I would support whoever will be favoured by the expected Judgement in the final analysis.
In a statement signaling his acceptance of the Supreme Court decision to nullify his candidature in the governorship election, he said “I solemnly want to state with every sense of humility, that I have accepted the judgement of the Supreme Court in good faith.
“That replacing my name as the governorship Candidate of APC was not a good action. The leadership of the Party substituted my name without looking at the legal and other contentious implications of that action.
He expressed gratitude to the judiciary for all judgements he was involved in pertaining to appeals he was involved in
“I wish to also express my profound gratitude to the Judiciary for all the Judgements involving me right from the election Petition Tribunal to the Supreme Court. My respect for the nation’s Judiciary would remain unwavering.
