The Interim management committe Chairman of Owerri Municipal, Hon.Ebere Chukwuemeka has donated and fixed a gate for Owerri urban police station.
The Council Boss also increased the dwarf fence of the station in order to give the security outfit an enabling environment to continue functioning and delivering security services to the people.
In his response, the Owerri Urban DPO, A.A Isah, commended the Council Boss for providing the gates.
He said ” We have not seen anything like this before.Just few days ago, we made our complains to you, unlike how we complained in the past administration, now you have fixed it
“you have really shown police officers here that you truly mean business of rebuilding Imo.
He continued “We appreciate and thank His Excellency, Gov Emeka Ihedioha and Owerri municipal council for this good job done here today.We’ll continue discharging our duties which is securing life and properties to the best of our knowledge
“We appreciate this synergy with your office,we promised never to fail in our duties.
Hon Chukwuemeka assured the police officers of maximum cooperation from the council.
