A former governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, and a former Minister is on the radar of the All Progressive Congress, APC in the State.
The outgoing caretaker commitee of the APC, in the State led by Marcellnus Nlemigbo, had led the State Executive, to woo former Governor of the State, Ikedi Ohakim
This newspaper had reported last month, that a former governor of the State is on the move from the PDP to the APC, and the move to Ohakim by Nlemigbo justifies our report.
Also, the party is piling pressure on a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The former Minister from Owerri zone is said to be under considerable pressure to leave the PDP for the APC.
Talks have reached an advanced stage, as the ex Minister’s defection may take place after Congresses and National Convention.
