President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu has reacted to a report credited to one Obinna Akukwe who claimed that he took iil after he led the leadership of Ohaneze to visit leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in DSS custody recently
Ben Osuagwu, Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to Chief Iwuanyanwu, in a statement made available to INNONEWS categorically denied the report, describing it as “ridiculous” and “fictitious”.
According to Osuagwu, Chief Iwuanyanwu was not feeling well before his trip to Abuja, but still went to visit Kanu despite his health challenges.
Osuagwu advised the public to be wary of false information and urged journalists to verify facts before publishing.
He expressed disappointment that such a false report came from someone claiming to be a Pastor/Reverend, and urged the public to disregard the report entirely.
