The Chairman of the Global Prolife Alliance (GPA), Academician Prof (Dr). Philip Njemanze, has advocated for the suspension of the implementation of malaria vaccine.
In a letter titled ” Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding Malaria Vaccine Safety And Ethics”addressed to the Nigerian Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Njemanze drew the attention of the Senate President to “critical information regarding the recent introduction of the Malaria Vaccine as routine immunization in the Republic of Cameroon”
“The discussions surrounding the adoption of routine malaria vaccination in other African countries, including Nigeria, necessitate a precautionary approach to ensure safety and the strict observance of ethical standards related to parental informed consent”
In the video, Njemanze called for the suspension of the implementation of the Malaria Vaccine.
