The National Coordinator of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for the successful commissioning of several signature projects in Imo State.

Among the projects commissioned were the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre (EIICC), the Assumpta Flyover linking Port Harcourt and Onitsha Roads with the Old and New Owerri areas at the Assumpta Cathedral Roundabout, popularly known as Control Post.

Also commissioned were the fully constructed 26-kilometre Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia Road, the remodelled Concorde Hotel, Owerri, as well as the unveiling and presentation of the book, “A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria,” authored by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Belusochukwu, who is also the National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), described the projects as monumental and people-oriented, noting that they would boost productivity, create employment, and stimulate economic growth across the state.

He noted that the Shared Prosperity Government had improved peace, prosperity, and tourism in the state, attracting both local and foreign investors who now find Imo a conducive environment for business and leisure.

The Ahiazu Mbaise-born youth leader praised Governor Uzodimma for his commitment to quality governance and for initiating projects that have significantly improved the living standards of Imo people.

While expressing gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for visiting Imo State to commission the developmental projects, Belusochukwu also lauded the President for implementing policies aimed at positively reshaping the nation’s economy.

He said President Tinubu has demonstrated clear capacity for democratic governance and remains committed to transforming Nigeria through policies that promote human development and social advancement.

“The book unveiling and presentation by the Governor, and the commissioning of these legacy projects — the remodelling of Concorde Hotel, Owerri; the 26-kilometre Owerri–Mbaise–Obowo–Umuahia Road; the Assumpta Flyover at Control Post; and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, among others — are wonderful and worth celebrating,” he said.

“On this note, I want to thank and appreciate His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, for these historic landmark achievements in Imo State.

“These developmental projects will not only enhance connectivity and economic activities but will also stand as enduring legacies of the Governor’s commitment to transformative leadership,” Belusochukwu added.
