GPA Links Nigeria’s Insecurity To GMO Invasion, Not Religious War

Accuses Bill Gates, Biotech Firms of Destroying Local Farming System

The Global Prolife Alliance (GPA) has dismissed claims in the United States that Nigeria’s insecurity stems from religious genocide, insisting instead that the crisis is rooted in the infiltration of genetically modified (GMO) crops and the destruction of the country’s indigenous agricultural system.

In a statement signed by its chairman, Academician Prince Dr Philip Njemanze, and addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the group alleged that foreign biotechnology corporations, led by interests linked to Bill Gates, are using technology-driven agriculture to undermine Nigeria’s food sovereignty.

It said the religious narrative promoted abroad is a “deliberate diversion” from the real motive — corporate colonization of the country’s food chain.

“The so-called religious war in Nigeria is a façade.

“Our research shows that biotechnology multinationals have used the cover of agricultural reform to eliminate natural seed-grower farmers and replace indigenous crops with patented GMO varieties. This is economic warfare disguised as faith-based conflict.” the GPA said.

According to the group, data from the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) indicate that between 85 and 90 percent of Boko Haram’s victims were Muslims, undermining the global narrative of an anti-Christian genocide.

“If this was truly a religious war, the majority of victims would not be Muslims,” Njemanze argued, citing reports that over 32,000 Muslim farmers were killed between 2015 and 2018.

The GPA further alleged that so-called “Electronic Wallets” distributed to Nigerian farmers under agricultural aid programmes were GPS-enabled devices used to locate and eliminate local seed-growers.

“Through these wallets, mercenary networks trained by private military contractors accessed farmers’ locations and targeted them for elimination, paving the way for GMO adoption,” the statement read.

It accused Gates-linked foundations and their Nigerian partners of “engineering insecurity” through a mix of economic sabotage, misinformation, and environmental manipulation.

“There is evidence that climate modification projects — artificial flooding, induced droughts, and geoengineering — are being weaponized to destroy farmlands and enforce dependence on imported GMO seeds,” GPA claimed.

The group urged the Federal Government to impose an immediate moratorium on the importation and distribution of GMO seeds, pending a national scientific and security review. It also called for the suspension of all foreign foundation programmes involved in biotechnology and climate engineering until their operations are thoroughly investigated.

“National security is inseparable from agricultural sovereignty,”

“When we lose control of our seed systems, we lose control of our survival. Nigeria must act now to defend its farmers, its soil, and its people.” Njemanze said.

The GPA requested a joint inquiry involving the Department of State Services (DSS), the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NBDA), and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to probe the alleged use of agricultural aid as a cover for terrorism financing.

It also recommended that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) audit and suspend all SIM cards and accounts linked to the “Electronic Wallet” scheme, which it claims may still be transmitting sensitive data.

The group said it has already communicated its findings to world leaders, including U.S. President Donald Trump, and to key United Nations agencies, African governments, and religious bodies, warning that Nigeria’s sovereignty and moral integrity are under coordinated attack.

“GMO invasion, not religion, is the real weapon destroying Nigeria’s unity.

“If the government fails to act, future generations may inherit not a country, but a corporate plantation.” the statement concluded.
