Nigerians took to the social media yesterday to remember Late Elect Lady Catherine Nnenna Onyeukwu who passed on May 20, 2016.
A photo of the deceased posted on facebook by one of her sons and Publisher, Online news medium, INNONEWS.COM.NG, Mr. Innocent Onyeukwu, attracted thousands of response from Nigerians.
Mr Onyeukwu had wrote “ Dear Mama, It is one year today you left but your virtues and sterling qualities remain evergreen in my memory. Miss you so much”.
The message also attracted several reactions on twitter and other social media platforms.
Eminent Nigerians had stormed Owerri for the funeral of Lady Onyeukwu on July 2nd 2016 among whom include Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, former Secretary to Government of Imo State, Jude Ejiogu, the South East leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC led by Hon Emma Eneukwu and many others.
Former Imo and Abia State Governor, Ikedi Ohakim and Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu were among hundreds of Nigerians that also sent in their condolences.
A Memorial service was held in honour in November 2016
