The former Political Adviser to Governor Rochas Okorocha, Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri has received a national award for excellence in legal teaching.
The National Association of Law Teacher (NALT) an umbrella body of all law teachers in Nigeria bestowed the prestigious TASLIM ELIAS Long service award on Prof. Obiaraeri on 14th June 2017 at Awka in Anambra State.
Obiaraeri, a former Dean Faculty of Law Imo State University received the unique award during the 50th NALT conference in Awaka, Anambra State capital which was declared open by the Ag. President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
The award was in total recognition of Prof. Obiaraeri’s immeasurable contributions to legal education and human development in Nigeria.
Prof. Obiaraeri who is currently the special adviser to the governor of Imo State on education and chairman taskforce on new tertiary institution in his speech expressed profound gratitude to the leadership NALT for the award.
He pointed out that the award will continue to encourage him to do for more in legal teaching.
Obiaraeri however dedicated the award to all his students.
