Commissioner Nominees have been screened by the Imo State House of Assembly. The screening is a prelude to their final confirmation as commissioners. Majority Leader of the House, Lugard Osuji confirmed to this newspaper that that most of the nominees have been screened.
Sources in the Assembly said the screening was hitch-free. This newspaper however sighted one of the commissioner nominees, Nnamdi Obiareri at the Assembly complex. His mission was unknown as this newspaper was unable to ascertain the purpose of his visit.
It would be recalled that Governor Okorocha had submitted 27 commissioner nominees to the Imo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
