Media icon and co- Publisher of fledging Owerri based Newspaper, Trumpta Newspaper, Gerry Ogu has been conferred a chieftaincy title.

Ogu was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Aguejiejemba 1 of Avuvu community in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State by Eze Engr. Francis, the Eze Udo 11 of Avuvu Ikeduru.

The ceremony was witnessed by a tumultuous crowd who came to be part of the ceremony. Eminent Imo sons and daughters who came from far and near were also present to witness the epoch making event.

Among those present at the colourful ceremony include Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, APGA governorship hopeful, Barr Humphrey Anumudu,  another governorship aspirant, Dr. Ike C. Ibe, APGA chieftain, Chief Martin Agbaso and many others.
