Contrary to reports in the media that the Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere’ media activities has been shut out by the state owned media, Imo Broadcasting Corporation, IBC, top sources at the radio station disapproved the report saying there is no iota of truth in the report.
The source said there is no element of truth in the story as no news item on the number two citizen of the State has been stopped.
“Stopped on what grounds. The Deputy Governor’s speech on International Women’s Day was aired on the station today. So, it is a wicked lie and a dangerous rumour for one to say that news about the Deputy Governor was stopped by the station”
“Our reporter is still designated at the Deputy Governor’s office. There are many rumours circulating on the social media. Please ignore them” the source stated.
