The Mass Action Joint Alliance, MAJA party has vowed to sack the APC led Imo State Government in 2019 just as a United Kingdom trained lawyer, Barr Aloysious Osuji declared his governorship ambition on the party’s platform.
The Party also unveiled its party secretariat located along Owerri- Okigwe road in Imo State. The national leadership of the party which stormed Owerri for the unveiling of the party secretariat also announced its determination to be a major contender for the 2019 governorship race.
Announcing his intention to become Imo State Governor in 2019, Chief (Barr) Aloysious Osuji said he is hopeful and optimistic that come 2019, he will emerge the Governor of the State.
He said he is a “ Reformer” God has chosen to reform Imo State for truth and justice to prevail.
He assured that as Governor, he would ensure effective and good governance; gainful youth employment, provision of power supply and more importantly protect the lives and properties of the people of the State. The United Kingdom based lawyer also called on the people of Imo State to support his governorship ambition describing himself as a man of integrity who has come to wipe away their tears.
Barr.Osuji,expressed his hopefulness to be sworn-in as the next Imo State Governor in 2019. The legal luminary described himself as a “Reformer “whom God has chosen to reform Imo State together in truth, justice and equity.
He said “Under my watch as the incoming Imo State Governor, he would ensure effective good governance, youths employment, provision of power supply and protect the lives and properties of the people of Imo State”
Earlier in her welcome speech, the National Chairman of the party, Hon (Mrs) Chika Ibeneme boasted that Maja party will produce the next Governor of Imo State in 2019. She said the party will cruise to victory from the grassroots to the national level.
She also assured that the party’s primaries will be devoid of rancor as they have adopted option A4 to ensure that no one is rigged out and ensure that only credible candidates emerge from the party.
Mrs. Ibeneme harped on the need for Imolites and Nigerians to go get their Permanent Voters Cards to enable them vote vote in Maja party in Imo State in 2019.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the party’s Secretariat in Owerri which was witnessed by a mammoth crowd which came from far and near.
