A former Majority Leader of Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Lugard Osuji has felicitated with his constituents at Easter.
The lawmaker who represents Owerri Municipal State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly urged both indigenes and non indigenes residing in the municipality to remain peaceful and exhibit the Christian virtues of love, sacrifice and tolerance as exemplified in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He reminded all Christians that the season of Easter celebration is a period of sober reflections which also symbolizes a new beginning of hope and redemption for all mankind.
He said that for all true Christians ,the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ proffer solutions to all challenges confronting mankind and are surmountable by fervent prayers.
The law maker harped on the need for his constsituenst to live in peace and harmony, adding that there is no meaningful development in an atmosphere of violence and urged them to always be their brother’s keeper.
He also urged them pray for the nation as the 2019 elections draws near.
