The Archbishop of Owerri Catholic Diocese, Archbishop Anthony Obinna has declared a mass wedding for Christian men and women faithful who have been living together without church wedding. The wedding is scheduled to hold on July 28 July, 2018 at Maria Assumpta Catholic Cathedral parish, Owerri, Imo State by 10am.
According to a statement by Rev Fr Nicholas Ijemaru, any man or woman living together but having financial difficulty to wed should proceed to the Church and register for the wedding free of charge.
Those interested will also undergo marriage course at Obiri Odenigbo Maria Assumpta Catholic beginning from June 5, 2018.
