Of the 13 local governments in Ebonyi State, the All Progressives Congress, APC, is taking the lead in 10 local governments in the state governorship election.
Our Ebonyi State correspondent  reports that results declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC,  indicates, that the ruling party won in Ebonyi, Ivo, Ezza North, Izzi, Afikpo South, Ohaozara, Ohaukwu and Abakaliki, while the PDP secured victory in Ezza South.
The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, won in Onicha local government area.
The major governorship candidates are Francis Nwifuru (APC), Ifeanyi Odili (PDP) and Bernard Odo (APGA).
The State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Onyeka Ugochi, said results from the three remaining local governments would be announced when they are ready
