Hon Obodo Calls On Owerri Municipal Constituents To Enroll For IMSSBN Exercise

The Member Elect for Owerri Municipal State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Obodo Ugochukwu, has called on his constituents in Owerri Municipal, to enroll without delay, into the Imo Social Security Benefit Number (IMSSBN).

He gave the advise in his address at a meeting with Market leaders, youths, women and artisans, where he urged his constituents to key into the programme and go for data capturing of the exercise without delay because of its numerous benefits.

He said the IMSSBN, is a huge dividend of democracy for the people from the State government, stressing that some of the benefits include free health insurance and free medical services to all ages of registered persons, access to all Federal, State and Local Governments Conditional cash transfers to Nigerians, access to all social amenities and facilities from all levels of Governments, including all social welfares, access to all Government assisted Programmes and projects, access to loans and business support from the State Government, skill acquisition and a database for citizens of the State.

Hon Obodo called on youths, women, including the elderly in Owerri Municipal to come out in large numbers with their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs), and enroll in the exercise at various designated centres in the municipality.

He said “This is a major dividend of democracy for our people.

“The good people of Owerri Municipal stand to gain a lot from this programme.

“This is why I call on them to take advantage of the enormous opportunity of this programme” he said.

He thanked the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma for conceptualizing such a great initiative, describing him as a visionary leader who at all times have the interest of the people of Imo State at heart.
