The Senior Special Assistant to Gov Alex Otti on Agriculture, Dr Cliff Agbaeze has declared that the governor employs excellence, equity, and justice in the administration of the state.

He also disclosed that the governor is running a government of inclusivity that is blind to ethnic, religious and political cleavages.

Dr Agbaeze made the declaration at Amokwe Item in Bende Local government area of the state during a thank you visit to his people.

The university don and agricultural finance expert who was accompanied to the visit by Item Development Association stakeholders and Labour Party executives from Ward A, noted that although Dr Otti contested under labour Party,he is mindful of the fact that he was overwhelmingly voted for by Abia people yearning for good governance across party lines.

He said because the governor owes his allegiance to the people, he will continue to run a government that carries everyone along but at the same time promotes excellence.

He explained that he was on the thank you visit to express the appreciation of Dr Alex Otti for the massive votes that Item people gave him during the election and to assure them that help is finally here and that they would not be abandoned by the government.

Dr Agbaeze said he was happy that the people had articulated their development needs and demands from government and pledged to deliver them to the governor.

He appealed to Item people and the entire Abia citizens to continue to support Dr Otti to realize the new Abia he envisions.

Responding on behalf of others after the interactive session, some executives of Item Development Association in the persons of Chief Dr Francis Egu and High Chief Eme Ogele commended Dr Agbaeze for initiating the visit, saying it was very thoughtful of him.

They told the special adviser to extend their profound gratitude to the governor for remembering Ndi item in his appointments and assured him of their continuing and unflinching support for his administration.

The occasion was attended by a large crowd including women and the youths.
