The Imo State Mass Housing Committee has called on the general public to ignore letters of allocation bearing “Shared Prosperity Layout New Owerri” flying in the public domain.
In a refutal signed by Lady Hope Anyiam, Secretary, Imo State Mass Housing Committee, the Committee urged the people of the state not to fall victim to such land speculators.

The attention of the Imo State Committee on the Mass Housing Project set up by His Excellency Most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma to provide affordable shelter for the teaming Imolites has been drawn to the purported Letters of Allocation bearing “SHARED
PROSPERITY LAYOUT, NEW OWERRI”, has been flying in the public domain in recent times.
It has become pertinent to put the records straight for the unsuspecting innocent Imolites who may fall victim to these dubious land speculators, which include:
1. His Excellency, Most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has mapped out
these (3) locations in
in the Senatnorial Zones of Imo State, as contained in his address during the last Labour Leaders and Stakeholders meeting, namely, Mgbidi (Orlu Zone), Anara (Okigwe Zone), and Umuoma Nekede (Owerri Zone).
2. The Committee on the Mass Housing Project has visited the Traditional Rulers, Presidents General, and relevant community stakeholders in localities and has
already commenced preliminary developmental projects in all the mapped-out locations for mass housing development.
3. His Excellency’s resolve to provide mass housing to Imolites is non-negotiable and
must be carried out to the letter. He means well for Imolites and will definitely give them the best.
4. The Mass Housing Committee is highly committed, working day and night to ensure that we deliver on these mass housing projects within the stipulated time frame.
The general public is advised to be properly guided to avoid falling victim to these land
speculators with fake and illegal allocation papers.
