The standard bearer of the All Progressive Congress, APC for Owerri East district election in the last general election, Prince Alex Mbata(PAM) has facilitated with the good people of Owerri zone on this year’s Independence anniversary.
In his goodwill message, he thanked the people for their continued faith in our country in spite of the challenges. He expressed the view that with trust in God and positive attitudes by everyone, our dear zone, state and country will be better.
He opined that every nation faced one challenge or the other in her daily growth processes but it only takes the will and patriotic commitments by the people for such challenges to be overcome.
He described the Owerri people as ” strong-willed, determined, focused and result driven.” He charged them to continue in their cherished tradition of brotherhood for the good of all.
He further called on the zone to continue to support the governor of the state for the great works he has been doing in the state. He said all hands must be on deck to ensure the victory for the return of the governor for a second term which he said will activate the implementations of the charter of equity in the state which according to him will be of great benefits to all in the state.
He pointed out that the governor has evidently showed love to the Owerri zone through many laudable programs and projects across the zone.
Prince Alex Mbata asked the people to remain steadfast as his dedication to continue to create enabling environments for the youths and needy to harness their potentials remain a cardinal focus of his philosophy for a better and greater society.
He prayed for God’s grace upon the governor, government and good person of the zone and across the state to continue to live in peace and work towards a greater society where everyone will be happy.
