*To Lead His Political Structure, PAM For Hope, To Campaign For Governor In Owerri Zone*
Business mogul and one-time Owerri Zone Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Alex Mbata, and his political structure, PAM for Hope, have drummed support for the re-election of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
Addressing a large crowd of his political structure held at his campaign headquarters, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri,on Thursday, Mbata said Uzodimma deserves re-election because he has performed exceedingly well in the past four years.
“It’s PAM for Hope. That is the name of my political structure.
“Uzodimma has performed well. He has made our state proud.
“He has built quality roads, which have stimulated development not only in Owerri Zone but across Imo State.
“He has done well. Charter of Equity or no Charter of Equity, Uzodimma has performed, and he deserves our support to be re-elected.
“I call on everyone here to join hands and support the re-election of our governor on November 11, 2023,” he said.
As part of plans to boost support for the governor, Mbata said he and his supporters will organize rallies and campaigns in the four federal constituencies that make up Owerri Zone.
“Soon, we shall embark on rallies and campaigns in the four federal constituencies to campaign for the re-election of our governor.
“We will ensure he wins the election, because that is the only way to ensure he continues the good work he has started, he stated.
Responding on behalf of the PAM For Hope Structure, co-ordinator of the group in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA, Vitalis Ogbonna, commended Prince Mbata for his decision to support the governor’s re-election.
“We are happy, sir, for giving us a new path and direction.
“Your love for Owerri Zone is unquantified, and we are happy that you will lead this campaign for Uzodimma’s in Owerri Zone,” he said.
The event was attended by LGA coordinators and youth leaders drawn from all the wards in Owerri Zone, which comprises nine local governments.
