Reports are rife that the PDP’s secretariat has taken the unprecedented step of dismissing Senator Anyanwu as National Secretary of the party.
The Zonal Executive Council of the Party, in a dramatic twist of events during their Enugu meeting on Sunday, officially sanctioned his removal. In a surprising move, they also affirmed the appointment of Rt. Hon. Ude Okoye, a former National Youth Leader of the Party, as his replacement.
The stakeholders meeting was presided over by Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State and attended by prominent party members, including former governor of Ebonyi State, Sam Egwu, former National Chairman Okwesilieze Nwodo, and two former Imo State Governors, Achike Udenwa and Emeka Ihedioha.
