The Special Adviser to Imo State Governor on Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, has drummed support for the re-election of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

He also expressed his gratitude to all those who celebrated him over his recent appointment as Deputy Director, Student 2, in the Imo APC Campaign Council.

In a statement he signed, Okereke said their full support for the 3R-led government has always been appreciated, urging them to come out en masse to reelect Governor Hope Uzodimma on November 11, 2023, to enable him to consolidate his laudable achievements in the state for even development.

According to Okereke, “I am deeply touched and inspired by the calls I received across Nigeria as a known student’s leader from men of good intention. This implies that our candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma, is an acceptable product not only to ndi-Imo but to Nigeria at large.

“Your generous words of congratulations and encouragement buttressed the predicted victory on November 11, 2023. With boundless gratitude for the confidence placed in me by His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma, and with an unswerving resolve to honor that trust, I humbly accept the appointment as the Deputy Director, Student 2, in the Imo State Campaign Council of All Progressives Congress (APC)”.

Okereke said he wishes to “extend my deepest respect and congratulations to all the leaders who made the list and, most importantly, to everyone supporting the reelection bid of our beloved governor. It is an investment for a greater Imo; it is a sacrifice for the unity of Imo people through institutionalizing the Charter of Equity in our beloved state, which will bring peace and prosperity to the next generation”.

He enjoined his beloved students and stakeholders to join the moving train in order to “make a progressive impact for our collective gain.

“Let us unite and help our fathers realize the dream of a greater Imo where the minority will have the opportunity to have a fair share in the political business of our beloved state.

“It is a new dawn for us; let us go back and put on our old aluta regalia in the struggle for what we believe in. Our collective capacity is directly proportional to the victory of Senator Hope Uzodinma and indeed, the victory of the Imo people for consolidation of economic development, a good road network, human capital development, capacity building, an improved health and education system, an end to insecurity, and good governance at large”.
