A team of journalists on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, embarked on an inspection visit to the permanent site of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMO) located in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

The site, which is witnessing rapid infrastructural development, is a testament to the visionary leadership of the Founder and President of the ministry, Evangelist Ebuka Anozie Obi.

Upon arrival, the journalists observed a peaceful and organized atmosphere as various categories of workers—engineers, labourers, and contractors—were seen diligently executing their tasks.

The construction of major internal roads appeared to be at advanced stages, with heavy-duty machinery operating across the expansive project site.

Security at the location remains a top priority. Operatives from the Department of State Services (DSS), alongside members of the ministry’s internal security team, were visibly present, with patrol vans stationed strategically to ensure safety and order.

Local residents expressed delight over the pace and quality of the ongoing development.

Speaking with ThePressman Newspaper and other media representatives, they praised Evangelist Obi and the ministry for bringing significant transformation to the area.

Many believe the project, once completed, will yield far-reaching economic and social benefits for the host communities.

One of the site’s security personnel, Mr. Victor, confirmed the steady progress of work, noting the high level of peace maintained throughout the premises.

However, he narrated a recent incident where some hoodlums, believed to have emerged from nearby bushes, damaged parts of the perimeter fence and set ablaze several GP water tanks.

He condemned the act, describing it as an attempt to derail the ministry’s mission.

Supporting this, Mr. Papa, a youth leader and vigilante member from Amala Ikem Autonomous Community, also decried the sabotage but emphasized the economic growth the project has triggered.

He disclosed that land prices in the vicinity have skyrocketed, with plots now valued between ₦10 million and ₦15 million.

“It’s common to face opposition when progress is happening,” Mr. Papa stated. “But in the end, those who resist will eventually benefit from what they tried to stop.”

Evangelist Ebuka Anozie Obi—revered as a dynamic preacher, author, gospel musician, and prophet—continues to drive both spiritual and physical transformation through the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach.

His efforts have attracted national attention and inspired admiration among many stakeholders.

Commending the supportive role of the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, several observers praised the administration for creating a conducive environment for large-scale projects like ZPMO to thrive.

They encouraged other individuals and organizations to follow suit by investing in the state’s development.

Meanwhile, anticipation builds as thousands of believers under the Zion Prayer Ministry prepare to converge on Zion City, Ngor-Okpala, for the much-awaited 100 Days Crusade—an event expected to ignite another wave of spiritual and infrastructural awakening.
