In appreciation of his unrelenting efforts in nation-building and his massive support for the Catholic Church, the Catholic Television of Nigeria has named Governor Hope Uzodimma as the Man of the Decade.
Senator Uzodimma has equally been nominated to be the keynote speaker during the 15th anniversary celebrations of the Catholic Television of Nigeria on Thursday this week.
In a letter to the Imo State Governor, the television outfit announced that he will be speaking on the topic: THE ROLE OF COMMUNICATION IN THE MODERN WORLD; A TOOL FOR RENEWED HOPE.
In the letter signed by the Executive Director of Catholic Television of Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Patrick Alumuku, who also doubles as the Communications Director of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Uzodimma was also gifted daily broadcast of his administration’s activities.
“To further strengthen our relationship, we humbly request to render a daily broadcast of your government’s uncommon achievements on our platforms.”
It also offered to “respectfully present an award to your admirable wife and our mother, Her Excellency, Barr. Chioma Uzodimma.”
It informed the governor that CTV is now transmitting on GOtv Channel 115 and DStv Channel 197.
It commended Uzodimma for his continued support, saying it was looking forward to bestowing the award on him and listening to his lecture.
The Catholic Television of Nigeria has an estimated viewership of 189 million people cutting across Africa.
