The South East Zonal Youth Leader of the APC, Barr. Chimankpam Ogbonnaya, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the able manner in which he has piloted the affairs of Nigeria in the last three years.
He also celebrated the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, for his pivotal and inspirational leadership, which has led to the rebirth of the APC in Abia State.
In a message he sent to the two leaders on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day, Barr. Ogbonnaya expressed satisfaction with the leadership of Tinubu, which, he said, has not only stabilised Nigeria’s polity and economy but also placed them on the path of sustainable growth.
Although he acknowledged that people are currently experiencing economic hardship, the APC youth leader described it as a necessary sacrifice to reap the benefits of President Tinubu’s economic reforms.
According to him, Nigeria’s economy would have totally collapsed if Tinubu had not taken tough and courageous steps to steer it back to life.
He said the removal of the fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange markets have brought about stability in the economy.
He noted that even the International Monetary Fund has given Nigeria a thumbs-up for its economic reforms.
While commending the President for the increased federal allocations to states to accelerate development, he acknowledged the infrastructural revolution being achieved across Nigeria.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is securing the future of Nigerian youths through these reforms, and I wish him more strength in the days ahead,” Barr. Ogbonnaya enthused.
The youth leader also praised Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu for spreading the gospel of Renewed Hope in Abia State and expressed confidence that, through his efforts, the APC will win all elections in the state in 2027.
