A hardline pro-Tinubu group has formally declared full electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.
On Saturday in Enugu, the group known as “Igbo Agenda for Tinubu” through the its secretary, Judith Akalezi Esq announced that it has secured seven million votes across the five Southeastern states exclusively for President Tinubu.
“We have reserved all the votes in the zone for President Tinubu and have activated all of our strategy and structures towards achieving that objective,” the group stated.
The group cited the projects delivered by Tinubu’s administration in the Southeast as the basis for this support.
“No vote will escape,” the statement continued. “We have put in place the strategies and structures to achieve our objectives.”
The seven million votes in the zone have already been allocated to President Tinubu.
The group further declared that presidential candidates and political parties seeking votes in the Southeast will be wasting their time and resources, as all available votes in the zone have been allocated to Tinubu.
Other parties may still visit the region, hold campaign rallies, address supporters, erect billboards, organize town hall meetings, mobilize their structures, flood the media with campaign messages, and spend substantial resources seeking presidential votes. These efforts will yield little because no “loose votes” remain for them to capture.
With seven million votes secured for Tinubu across the Southeast, the group’s declaration establishes a clear electoral reality for 2027.
