*…From a Muslim Home to the Pulpit: The Grace Story of Winners’ Egbu Resident Pastor*

At 50, Pastor Abraham Olatunji stands as a living testimony that grace truly finds a man wherever he is and transforms him into a vessel of honour. A messenger of God with a message, his life journey from a Muslim family background to becoming the Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Egbu, Owerri, Imo State, is a story of divine encounter, conviction and unwavering obedience.

As family, friends, spiritual sons and daughters, and members of Living Faith Church Egbu roll out the drums to celebrate his golden jubilee, it is not just his age that is being celebrated, but the mercy of God that located him and the message God has committed to his trust.

Pastor Abraham Olatunji was born 50 years ago into a devout Muslim family where Islamic tenets were strictly observed. Growing up, no one would have imagined that the young Abraham would one day mount the pulpit to preach Christ crucified.

But God, who knows the end from the beginning, had a different plan.

His conversion to Christianity was not casual, it was a radical encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that turned his life around completely. Like Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, the encounter left him with one resolution: to serve the same Jesus he had not known before with all his heart, strength and resources.

That decision, though costly at the initial stage especially coming from a Muslim background, became the best decision of his life. He counted all else as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ.

After his salvation, Pastor Olatunji found a spiritual home in Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), founded by Bishop David Oyedepo, where he was discipled, trained and nurtured in the Word of Faith.

Drawn by the Commission’s mandate to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith, he yielded himself to pastoral training and service. He distinguished himself as a faithful, loyal and tireless servant of God, serving in various capacities and locations under the Commission before his present posting as Resident Pastor of Living Faith Church, Egbu, Owerri.

In Egbu, his impact has been remarkable. Under his leadership, the church has witnessed numerical growth, spiritual depth and renewed passion for soul winning the heartbeat of Living Faith Church.

Members describe him as a pastor who preaches faith with fire, prays with passion and pastors with compassion. His messages are simple, scriptural, practical and power-packed, leaving none in doubt that he is indeed a product of the Winners’ Word of Faith school.

Those who have sat under his ministration say Pastor Olatunji carries three burdens as a messenger:

Being a convert from Islam himself, salvation by grace is personal to him. He never ceases to tell people that Jesus is the only way and that no one is too far for God to save.

As a true Winners Pastor, he believes and teaches that faith is not theoretical. He teaches members how to engage the Word, put it to work and see tangible results.

At 50, his charge to the younger generation remains; serve God early, serve God genuinely, serve God sacrificially.

Pastor Abraham Olatunji is a devoted husband and father whose family life mirrors his message. His home is peaceful, exemplary and a model for many young couples in the church.

Outside the pulpit, he is known for his humility, accessibility and love for people. He visits, counsels, prays, and encourages. To many in Egbu, he is not just their Resident Pastor; he is their father, brother and friend.

At 50, Pastor Abraham Olatunji is entering a new phase of greater impact. From a Muslim home to the altar of God, from a seeker to a shepherd, his life proves that when God lays His hand upon a man, He rewrites his story.

The entire Living Faith Church family, Egbu district, joins the host of heaven to celebrate a man who said yes to Jesus and has remained faithful to that yes.

Congratulations to Pastor Abraham Olatunji at 50 years of Grace, 50 years of Mercy, and a future full of greater glory!

Happy Golden Jubilee to a true Messenger of God with a Message of hope!
