A former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha has hailed the Supreme Court judgment that recognized Senator Ahmed Makarfi as the national chairman of the PDP.
Speaking in a radio programme in Owerri, Ihedioha, who was the PDP governorship candidate in Imo State in the 2015 governorship election said the judgment is a victory for Nigerians, the people of Imo State and the PDP.
He said the judgment is a restoration of the rule of law, a step towards returning power to the people and more importantly a move towards  checkmating  the government in Power.
Ihedioha averred that Nigerians are joyous with the judgment because they are disappointed with the APC led Federal Government.
He congratulated every Imolite, the workers, the youths for the victory, urging them to join forces with the PDP to give them a government they all desire.
He said the PDP will be guided and will not repeat the mistakes of the APC, urging disenchanted APC members who desire to come over to the PDP not to hesitate to do so.
He said factions no longer exits in the PDP, stating that the party has opened its doors for well meaning Nigerians, while also warning that the party has no place for those who have the ulterior motives to cause confusion in the party.
